Miniature Grey Kitten Paw Print Macro Video Prompt
A free, shot-by-shot video prompt for a photorealistic 9:16 macro clip: a miniature grey kitten no bigger than a fingertip is squeezed out of a tube onto the back of a hand and leaves a pink paw pad imprint behind.
Caught a tweet from @GeekCatX (知识猫AI实验室) with a video of a cat, and the prompt posted underneath it. The whole thing hangs on one idea: scale. The cat isn't just small, it's the size of a fingertip.
The prompt sets up a single continuous overhead close-up. A hand rests palm-down on a grey-brown desk mat, white lace cuff at the wrist, a light pink high-profile keyboard behind it. There's a small pink bump on the back of the hand. A second hand brings in a thin white tube with a narrow nozzle, angled down toward the bump — and what gets squeezed out isn't cream. It's a grey kitten, delivered in one continuous piece: body, paws and tail forming as it lands on the skin.
Then the kitten walks over to the pink bump and presses a front paw down on it. When it lifts the paw, the bump is gone. What's left is a paw pad imprint pressed into the skin — one larger palm-shaped hollow, a few small round toe hollows, soft pink edges. The prompt is explicit that there's no blood.
The author put the prompt in a reply rather than in the tweet itself. Translated from the original Chinese, in full:
Generate a roughly 13.4-second photorealistic video in a near-vertical 9:16 frame, as one continuous overhead close-up shot. One hand rests palm-down on a grey-brown desk mat, a white lace cuff showing at the wrist, with a light pink high-profile keyboard behind it. On the back of the hand, toward the right, is a small pink raised bump. A second hand enters from the right holding a thin white tube with a narrow nozzle; the tube body carries only a small amount of dark printed pattern, and the nozzle angles down-left, close beside the bump.
The star is a miniature grey kitten no bigger than a fingertip: round head, short fluffy grey fur, fine light-and-dark grey stripes, small triangular ears, round bright dark eyes, pink nose, light muzzle, thin whiskers, short legs, small round paws and a short tail. Real skin texture against soft cat fur creates a strong sense of miniature scale. Soft bright indoor diffused light, low-contrast shadows, natural contact shadows between the paws and the skin, no subtitles or graphic overlays.
0-2s: As the shot opens, a short curved grey soft form is already attached to the tube nozzle, tipped by the tiny cat head. Like squeezing out paste, the grey form is slowly delivered from the nozzle onto the back of the hand, gradually becoming a compact cat body, small paws and tail — the same complete miniature grey cat. The kitten separates from the nozzle, and the white tube exits frame to the right with the hand holding it. Keep the continuous connection and separation from nozzle to hand unbroken.
2-5s: The little grey cat steadies itself, tail toward the right, gently adjusting its body and orientation, lowering its round head to examine the small pink bump in front of it, staying on the back of the hand throughout.
5-8s: The kitten extends one front paw and brings it down onto the pink bump toward the lower left, leaning slightly forward and pressing gently for a moment. Then it slowly lifts and withdraws the paw. As the paw lifts, the spot where the bump was reveals a small cat paw pad imprint: a larger palm-shaped depression with small round toe-pad depressions, soft pink edges, natural shading in the hollows, like a paw print gently pressed into a soft surface. No blood. The sequence of pressing, holding, lifting and revealing the mark is clearly visible.
8-11.8s: The kitten tucks in its front paw and settles behind the imprint, first lowering its head to glance at the paw print, then lifting its face to look at the camera. The camera continues to tighten slowly, moving from a close shot of the hand to a macro close-up of the cat; the cat, the paw print and the skin texture enlarge together, and the pink keyboard gradually leaves the frame. The image keeps a slight natural drift, focus on the cat's face, fur and front paw, with the paw pad imprint at the front left still clearly visible.
11.8-13.4s: The kitten looks at the camera, opens its small mouth briefly and closes it, then opens and closes again gently, while tilting its head toward the right side of the frame, eyes still round and bright, looking at the camera. End on a close-up of it tilting its head, mouth closed, sitting on the back of the hand, front paws tucked in front, with that pink paw pad imprint at the front left remaining throughout.
A small note on the original: the prompt is written as a shot list with five timed beats — 0-2s the squeeze-out, 2-5s settling, 5-8s the paw press and reveal, 8-11.8s the camera push-in to a macro close-up, and 11.8-13.4s the final head tilt. The video tweet itself carries no text beyond "so cute, prompt below"; the prompt lives in the author's own reply. At the time of archiving, the video tweet had 102 likes, 8 retweets, 93 bookmarks and 10,832 views, and the prompt reply had 17 likes, 2 retweets and 2,486 views.
